A) Infrastructural facility
Success of academic and cultural activities of any institution depends upon its supporting infrastructural facilities. Our college though a young institute provides fully equipped laboratories which are updated from time to time. Recently the chemistry laboratory of the college is enriched by getting the LPG pipe line fitting with a gas bank outside the laboratory. Accordingly laboratories of the Physics, zoology,botany and computer application are added with the items of need. College has six lecture rooms and one library having books of general knowledge, competitive examination and of all subjects taught in the college and a girls common room.
B) National Service Scheme (NSS)
To foster a spirit of brotherhood,communal harmony and a service to humanity in general and rural folk in particular,fascilities are provided to willing students with their desire for social service,to put in their best for lessening the sufferings of the sick and the downtrodden. NSS unit of the college comprising 100 volunteers has been established under the guidance of the NSS programme officier who carries activities as per the calendar issued by the NSS programme Coordinator,university of jammu and by the college itself. During the previous session, NSS unit has done a commendable job towards the humanity by donating an amount of Rs.13000/- to Chief Minister Relief Fund, collected for flood victims of the state. Unit also celebrated 2nd of October as swacch bharat abhiyan in the college camous. Students enrolled as NSS volunteers are required to put in at least 120 hours of social work and attend one camp of 10 days duration to become eligible to get certificate.
C) National Cadet Corps (NCC)
To inculcate a sense of discipline in the youth and to develop their character, the ideal of service and capacity for leadership in addition to fostering a spirit of camaraderie, the college provides fascility for NCC training to the volunteer students. The NCC in India a voluntary organisation that involves students in the adventurous activities. The cadet are given basic military training in small arms and parades. This stimulates interest in the defence of the country as also builds up a reserve of man power for the armed forces, NCC C-certificate holders are exempted from the written test of CDS/IMA.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
a) Every enrolled NCC cadet has to undergo two parades of 2 hours each in week and is required to attend 40 parades in a year.
b) All cadet shall have to put in 75% attendance at parades so as to become eligible for certificate exams.
c) It is mandatory for the enrolled students to attend one camp.
d) The uniforms issued to the cadet are to be used with great care. These are to be returned at the end of the session.
e) Misbehaviour and misconduct in NCC activities can debar the cadet from appearing in the B-certificate and C-certificate examinations.
f) Enrolled cadets are covered by insurance against any mishap during the training.
D) Red Ribbon Club
Red ribbon club of the college has been entrusted to enrol maximum number of volunteers both male and female during the start of the academic session and enlightened them about the various issues like AIDS- causes and its prevention, drug addiction and other social issues under the banner of red ribbon. During previous session a charted programme of 2 days was held in the college in the form of symposium, poster making, slogan writing , skit etc,on the topic AIDS under the financial support JKSAPCS. A meaning ful skit in local language on AIDS was performed by the volunteers of red ribbon club during mega health mela organised by the ministry of health and medical education at JNV Basohli and was highly appreciated by the chief guest Honorable minister Choudhary Lal Singh minister of health and medical education, ARI and trainings J&k government.
E) Women Development Cell
The enrollment of female students in the college is more than male students and to encourage them to come in the fore front, college has developed Women Development Cell which organizes debates lectures for awareness and development of the women.
F) Games And Sports
College possesses the facility for both indoor and outdoor games. Teacher in the games after fair selection provide practice to the players for tournament at local or District level. Extraordinary players are considered for the award at end of the session. Games are played regularly to played regularly and every student is expected to play at least one game. College teams are announced on the basis of the trails and a rigorous selection process.
The College has sufficient stock of books both for students and teaching staff. College library is housed in a spacious room on the first floor of the college building. It has about six thousand no. of books which include the books of General Knowledge, competitive examinations, reference books apart from books of the subjects taught. All the books are systematically kept in the Almirah. To update the knowledge of students, college has subscribe newspapers and magazines in the library. Books are issued to the students on the production of I-card for a period of 14days only. Rs. 1/- per day will be charged as fine of the days over and above the prescribed days.

b) I-cards issued ti the students, if get lost should be brought to the notice of issuing authority immediately. Duplicate I-card will be issued on payments of Rs.100/-.
c) Reference books,rare books and books of general interest will not be issued. These can be consulted in the library.
d) Books issued if lost or damaged by the barrowor shall have to be replaced by new one failing which doubled the of the book shall be charged.
e) Students appearing for the university examination shall surrender their librarycard before receiving their roll number slips.
H) College Bus
Our college Bus provides an additional facility to the students coming from adjoining villages so that every student after passing 12th class get enrolled and avail the benefit of higher education with zero dropout. T ply the bus between the adjoining villages and Town Basohli- a committee is framed in Which students may also become its part and all the modalities are framed which varies from one session to another. This transport facility which is at concessional rate makes the students to reach the college and back to their homes comfortable on time.
PICNIC AND SUBJECT TOUR
Picnic of the college is generally organized in the third week of December before winter breaks. This is an academic exercise which makes the students familiar with social and cultural heritage of the adjoining areas and state. To get acquainted with ground truth of about what the teachers taught in class, subject tours in the subjects Environmental Science, Zoology Botany, History etc.are arranged every year for the students and in future this field work academic activity will be extended covering the subject Geography, Economics etc.
In the main campus college has its canteen which caters to the needs of the students and the staff at reasonable rate.
WOMEN DEVELOPMENT CELL
The enrolment of female students in the college is more than male student and to encourage them to come in the forefront college has developed Women Development cell which organizes debates, lectures for awareness and development of the women.
I) Academic and Subject Tours
To get familiar with social and cultural heritage of the adjoining states, college arranges tours and picnics for students in the month of December every year. One day academic field in the subject of Environment Science, Zoology, Botany and History are also conducted by the respective faculty.
